Introduction

Maintaining good eyesight is crucial for daily activities and overall quality of life. Incorporating eye exercises can help improve vision and reduce eye strain.

1. The 20-20-20 Rule 

Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. This simple exercise reduces eye strain and fatigue from prolonged screen use.

2. Eye Rolling 

Roll your eyes in a circular motion. Start by looking up, then slowly circle around clockwise and counterclockwise. Repeat 10 times to enhance eye flexibility.

3. Focus Shifting 

Hold your finger a few inches from your eyes. Focus on your finger, then shift your focus to something distant. Alternate focus 10 times to strengthen eye muscles.

4. Near and Far Focus 

Hold a pen at arm’s length and focus on it. Slowly bring it closer to your nose, then move it back out. Repeat 10 times to improve focus and flexibility.

5. Palming 

Rub your hands to generate heat, then place them gently over your closed eyes. Relax for a few minutes. This exercise soothes the eyes and relieves stress.

6. Blinking 

Blink rapidly for a few seconds, then close your eyes and relax for 20 seconds. Repeat this exercise to keep your eyes moist and reduce dryness.

7. Zooming 

Hold your thumb up at arm's length. Focus on your thumb as you move it closer to your face, then move it back. Repeat 10 times to improve eye focus.
