Balushahi is a traditional Indian sweet which is loved by many, especially during Diwali.

Flour, ghee, yogurt and sugar.

Start with making the dough, by mixing flour, ghee and yogurt and then leave to rest for some time.

Make small balls of dough, shape them like Balushahi with a small dip in the center.

Now fry them in ghee on low heat until they become golden brown and crispy.

To make sugar syrup, boil sugar with water and cardamom, then dip the fried balushahi in warm sugar syrup so that they soak up the sweet taste.

At last, add some almonds and pistachios on top to make them look festive and colourful.
