Boost Your Gut Health in These 7 Ways

Health begins in the gut! We’ll learn seven simple things you can do to improve your gut health for better digestion, immunity, and mood. Is it time to begin feeling better?

Eating fruits, vegetables, or whole-grain foods gives good gut bacteria a source of fuel. Foods that are high in fibre are also good for a happy gut. Aim for at least 25-30g of fibre daily for a happy gut.  

1. Eat More Fibre

Drinking plenty of water is also important, as it can help keep your digestive system healthy and help food move through your intestines. Keep sipping for better gut health!  

2. Stay Hydrated

You can also add probiotic-rich foods such as yoghurt, kefir, or kimchi to help introduce a little probiotic into your gut. Probiotics help your body digest better and increase your immune system.

Are Essential Good foods providing prebiotics include garlic, onions, and bananas, which nourish good bacteria in your gut and allow them to flourish. These foods help support your gut flora!

Don’t indulge in too much-processed food with lots of sugar and unhealthy fat. They can also throw your gut bacteria out of balance and promote inflammation. Have a balanced gut by choosing whole foods!
