What are Muscle Cramps?

This is the most common cause of muscle cramps because adequate fluid intake helps muscles contract and relax and keep them hydrated.  

1. Dehydration

A lack of minerals like sodium, potassium, calcium, or magnesium can affect muscles as they are essential for a healthy fluid-electrolyte balance of the body. 

2. Mineral Deficiency

Overtraining or overuse of a muscle can cause the muscle to cramp. Therefore, active people are advised not to overtrain.
