Though emerging as a new trend among youngsters, no amount of alcohol is safe or our body. If your liver is inflamed and you drink alcohol, it may cause Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease.

Exercise regularly and maintain an optimum weight, as obesity is also linked to liver health. Excess body fat may lead to stress on liver functioning and conditions like Fatty liver (whether alcohol-induced or not, depending on your choices).

Opt for whole grains like oats, whole wheat, barley, jowar, bajra etc and fresh fruits like orange, apple, berries and vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, sweet potato etc.

Avoid refined grains and sugar: The quality of food we eat directly impacts our health. Refined foods cause inflammation in our body, thus impacting our liver health.

Liver is the organ that takes care of the detoxification of our body, we need to take care of its health too. Apart from the above-mentioned points, try to include some other foods like garlic, ginger, nuts like almonds, walnuts, seeds like pumpkin, chia, sesame seeds in your daily routine.
