Milk cake is a rich, sweet Indian dessert which is perfect to celebrate festivals with family and friends.

You will need milk, sugar, lemon juice, cardamom powder and nuts for garnish.

Start with boiling milk on medium heat and stir occasionally to prevent it from burning.

Add lemon juice slowly to the milk to curdle it and form soft lumps.

Now strain the curdled milk through a muslin cloth and remove extra water.

Cook the lumps with sugar on low heat until they become thick and light brown.

Now add ghee and cardamom to make it tasty.

Finally, put the mixture in a greased tray and sprinkle nuts, then let it cool fully, and then cut into squares or diamonds.
