This is not true at all; you can't target fat loss in specific areas. We can definitely aim for overall fat reduction in the full body, but reducing fat from a particular area is not possible.

Myth 1: Spot Reduction Work

More sweat, or in fact, sweating, is not an indicator of calorie burn; it's just your body's response to a workout and the body's way of removing toxins from the body.

Myth 2: More Sweat Equals Better Workout

Cardio definitely helps in burning calories, and some people might lose weight with it, too, but strength training is equally important. A combo of both helps you the best.

Myth3: Cardio Is Best for Weight Loss

This is entirely false, as Women's body types don't gain bulk due to lower testosterone levels. Therefore, don't skip out on your weightlifting days at the gym, as weightlifting can also help regulate your hormones.

Myth 4: Lifting Makes Women Bulky

If we are talking about the initial low-level pain that everyone experiences after starting a new workout or resuming gym activities after a long break, it mostly occurs because of lactic acid accumulation post-workout. However, if the pain is unbearable and doesn't subside after some time, then listen to your body, it might be an injury.

Myth 5: No Pain, No Gain

Working out four times a week for almost an hour per day is also sufficient, as rest days are crucial for recovery and maintenance as well.

Myth 6: You Must Work Out Daily

This is a tricky one, as it depends on an individual's body response, which determines how well they absorb nutrients. A balanced diet can often suffice our nutritional requirements; however, when needed, one can also opt for good supplements.

Myth 7: Supplements Are Necessary

Crunches definitely focus on our core muscles and can help in the process, but overall body fat reduction is key. Crunches alone cannot lead to abs formation.

Myth 8: Crunches Lead to Six-Pack Abs
