How to Make Moonglet: Protein-Rich Vegan Breakfast

Moonglet is a soft, fluffy pancake made from moong dal, also known as a vegan omelette.

It has lots of plant protein, is easy to digest, and keeps you full for a long time.

Why Moonglet?

The main ingredient is moong dal, and soaked it is soaked in water for 4-6 hours.

Main Ingredient

Grind the soaked dal into a thick, smooth paste using a little water.

Add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies, coriander, salt, turmeric and cumin seeds.

Now, mix the batter well and add a small pinch of baking soda to make it fluffy and soft.

Heat a non-stick pan, grease it with oil and then pour a thick layer of batter.

Cook on low flame till one side turns golden, then flip and cook the other side too.

Now serve it with green chutney, tomato ketchup or curd, whichever you like, according to your taste.
