If we talk about 8-hour eating window, it can depend on the person it is planned for, as per their routine.

An 8-hour window could start at 9 a.m. and end at 5 p.m., so the first meal can be anytime beyond 9 a.m., and the last meal should be before 5 p.m.

Another thing apart from timings that we need to consider in time-restricted diets/eating is the types of meals we are having. We cannot eat junk or deep-fried foods while being in the same, as it will not help much in the longer run and can have a negative impact on overall health too.

Time-restricted eating or an 8-hour eating window can help us, depending upon our aim and objective. However, we cannot generalise for everyone, and the schedule and timings can vary. So consult a dietician before jumping to a conclusion.
