The truth about nutritional deficiencies and weight gain you probably didn’t know. Certain nutrients are fundamental to body metabolism and hormone equilibrium. So, let’s see what deficiencies may be downing your weight.

Deficiency Low vitamin D levels can also skew out your hormones, slow your metabolism and store more fat. This may also impair mood and energy and make it harder to lose weight. 

1. Vitamin D

Oxygen transport and energy production depend on iron. If deficient, you may feel fatigued, do less physical activity, and gradually gain weight.  

2. Iron Deficiency

Magnesium plays an important role in glucose regulation and energy metabolism. A lack of it can cause cravings, insulin resistance, and trouble with weight.
