What is Gluten?

 

Gluten is a protein present in wheat, barley, rice, and triticale. People with a gluten allergy, intolerance, or sensitivity are advised to consume a gluten-free diet. Here are the top 8 gluten-free grains one can consider.

1. Bajra

 

Bajra or pearl millet is rich in antioxidants, polyphenols, magnesium, zinc, B vitamin, and phosphorus.

2. Ragi

 

Also known as finger millet, ragi have high protein and calcium content. It is rich in tryptophan amino acid, vitamin E, and dietary fiber.
