Plateau in a weight loss journey is a very daunting point. For someone who wants to lose weight if they get stuck at a certain figure for long, it will feel like a nightmare.

Sleep can also hamper your weight loss journey, keep a check that you are taking atleast 7-8 hrs of sleep.

keeping a check on your water intake is also helpful. As we all know water will keep you full and will also help in avoiding unnecessary snacking.

So next time you feel like snacking on something sweet or savoury, drink some water and see if the cravings still persist or not.

Protein with all its benefits, also help in providing satiety/feeling of fullness, which can minimize snacking and might also reduce portion size in meals.

Include fresh salads, fruits in your routine for good dietary fiber intake. This will not only keep you feel full, but will also help in managing your blood sugar levels too.

As we are stuck at a plateau, try and change your workout, maybe it was walk earlier, opt for yoga or maybe even gym.

Being stuck at a particular weight can be demotivating, but all your body needs at this time is some shock, be it in the form of workout change or small lifestyle changes like increasing fiber intake, protein intake, managing your sleep cycle and water intake, this all will push and break the plateau.
