OMAD stands for One-meal-a-day diet, which can be seen as an emerging trend nowadays as people have been searching about this diet and opting for it too.

With their busy lifestyles and jam-packed schedules, people often forget to eat. Some even say that they do not feel hungry often, so they preferably opt for the OMAD diet.

Apart from the appetite and time constraints, people are also very actively using this dietary pattern for weight loss.

The OMAD Diet is effective for weight loss as we are drastically reducing our calorie intake per day, which will eventually lead to weight loss.

For some people, it might help to achieve their health goal like weight loss or weight management or if you just want to reduce your overall calorie intake.

However, with some positive aspects come some drawbacks too, as restricting oneself to one meal a day pattern can lead to several nutritional deficiencies.

If you eat only one meal a day, you are at increased risk of fluctuating blood glucose levels and losing lean muscle mass, which is not good for overall health and well-being of a person.
