This winter cake is naturally sweet, soft and loaded with good fats from walnuts. Adding Nutrabay protein gives it a richer texture and a better nutrition profile which is perfect for guilt free festive snacking

– 1 cup seedless date – 1 cup warm milk or almond milk – 1/4 cup oil – 1/4 cup jaggery (optional) – 1 tsp vanilla extract

– 1 cup whole wheat flour – 2 scoops Nutrabay Protein – 1/2 cup chopped walnut – 1 tsp baking powder – 1 tsp baking soda – pinch of salt – 1/2 tsp cinnamon

– Mix the date-milk paste with oil, vanilla & jaggery – In another bowl combine flour, Nutrabay protein, cinnamon, soda, baking powder & walnut – Fold dry into wet gently – Add 1-2 tbsp milk if needed

– Pour the batter into a greased tin – Top with walnut – Bake at 170-180 degrees for 35-40 min – Toothpick should come out clean
