Nourishing Spices for Monsoon Cooking

During the monsoon season, the weather becomes cool, which calls for the growth of various bacteria and viruses. This makes people more prone to illnesses like colds, flu, and waterborne diseases. Therefore, to boost your immunity and keep yourself healthy, it's essential to incorporate nourishing spices into your cooking.

Known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, turmeric is an excellent spice to incorporate during the monsoon. It helps boost immunity and aids in digestion. These properties make it an essential monsoon spice. 

1. Turmeric

Ginger is a popular spice used in monsoon recipes. It is due to its ability to aid digestion, alleviate nausea, and keep the body warm.
